Telstra has reportedly snared exclusive telco rights for Samsung’s new LTE Galaxy Watch, with the device set to land in Australia from October 4th.

As per Ausdroidfine print on Samsung Australia’s website reveal the LTE Galaxy Watch will be restricted to the Telstra network:

“*Cellular connectivity available on selected plans over the Telstra network only.”

It appears the arrangement is a carrier exclusive deal between Samsung Australia and Telstra.

The new Galaxy Watch will be available in either a LTE or Bluetooth model, with three colour options; Rose Gold, Silver and Midnight Black.

Catering to both sexes, the product will feature two face sizes; 42mm or 46mm.

While Telstra is yet to formally announce eligible plans, the cellular Galaxy Watch will retail from A$649. The Bluetooth model will sell for A$549.

Further information is available on Samsung Australia’s website here, including pre-registration.
