Alcatel continue to close the gap between them and their higher-end competition with their new Flash smartphone.

The company have packed two dual-lens cameras onto the 5.5-inch Flash, one on each side. The back one leverages 13-megapixels of sensor quality while the front-shooter counts for 8. From the looks of it, you’ll be able to achieve a similar effect to the soft-blur you find in cameras like that of the Huawei P9 and Apple’s iPhone 7.

The Flash also brings a MediaTek X10 processor to the fore, accompanied by 3GBs of RAM – which is not too shabby, even if the phone does still run on Marshmallow rather than Nougat.

Alcatel are also talking up the device’s symmetrical, metal-brushed back cover and diamond-cut bezels.

Australian pricing and availability for the Alcatel Flash is to be confirmed at this time.
