Mobile phone service operator Amaysim is looking to spread its wings into the NBN market, offering fixed and fixed-wireless services at all 121 points-of-interconnect (PoIs) across Australia.

The company says it will initially rely on aggregation services provided by AAPT and Optus, but will later launch its own direct-to-POI service in some areas.

Rob Appel, commercial director of broadband at Amaysim, has said this means that Amaysim is building a hybrid network in a bid to provide NBN services nationally.

Amaysim will offer potential users three plans, costing $60, $70 and $90 for unlimited data and with he usual offer of 12, 25 or 100Mbps download speeds respectively.
