Belkin has unveiled a new wireless charging pad for Apple’s latest range of iPhone devices.

The Boost↑Up Wireless Charging Pad utilises Qi technology to wirelessly charge the new iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X.

Belkin said its device can deliver a charge through a case up to 3mm thick, and allows for full smartphone functionality while charging.

“Customers around the world love iPhone and we believe wireless charging is the future. We are excited to continue expanding Belkin’s growing portfolio of wireless charging solutions with the new Boost↑Up Wireless Charging Pad for iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X, holding to our mission of helping consumers realize the power of new technology,” said Steve Malony, general manager and vice president, Belkin.

“Today we deliver the best cable-free and convenient charging solution for iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X users,” Malony said.

Since it uses Qi technology, the Belkin’s charging pad can also be used to charge other compatible devices at up to 7.5W.

The Boost↑Up Wireless Charging Pad is priced at RRP $99.95 and will be available at Belkin.com and apple.com on September 15, the same day pre-orders of the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus go live. Belkin said it is also “coming soon” to Apple stores worldwide.
