It’s official. Melbourne IT Group yesterday announced that it has officially changed its name to Arq Group.

The company claims this will cement its position as a true digital operator, rather than an Internet domain name registrar.

The new brand name will take effect immediately, and the new ARQ ticker code will come into effect “shortly”, Arq said yesterday.

The rebrand comes as Melbourne IT/Arq looks to expand, with plans to hire more than 270 new staff by the end of this year.
