SEATTLE: Microsoft has expressed interest in buying Warner Bros’ gaming unit, according to The Information, a  subscription-based digital media company.

The report said that Warner Bros parent AT&T has been discussing a sale of its Interactive Entertainment gaming division, which owns popular videogame Mortal Kombat.  

The deal is tipped be worth around somewhere in the vicinity of US$4 billion.
