Microsoft has only just patched the PrintNightmare vulnerability in Windows, but just two weeks later, there appears to be another printer-related issue for Windows computers.

Yet again, it is unauthorised access to the Windows Print Spooler service that can allow hackers to view, change and delete dat, install malware programs, and create new accounts on a user’s PC.

This one is a little less dangerous, as a potential hacker would need physical access to your PC for this latest CVE-2021-34481 vulnerability.

Microsoft is “developing a security update to remedy this, but suggest, in the meantime, “the workaround for this vulnerability is stopping and disabling the Print Spooler service.”
