Samsung’s Galaxy Note 9 mobile phone will have its official debut on August 9, according to a Bloomberg report. It is expected to be shown off to media earlier than this – probably in July.

The new phone is expected to have a 6.38-inch display, slightly bigger than the current model’s 6.32-icher.

It could also be the first Samsung flagship to tout an in-screen fingerprint scanner, according to some reports – though others say this won’t be ready in time.
