Pokémon Go Plus, a wearable device providing for players to interact with Pokémon Go without looking at their smartphone, is set to launch locally from September 16.

The device is compatible with both iOS and Android, connecting to smartphones via Bluetooth low energy, with it notifying players about nearby Pokémon and PokéStops.

It vibrates and its LED will flash green when a Pokémon is near, while, by pressing the button on the device once close, players can throw a Poké Ball, with a successful catch resulting in the device flashing and vibrating.

The device will also blink and vibrate whenever in range of a PokéStop, allowing players to receive items with a tap of its button, with it also capable of being used while Pokémon Go is running in the background on smartphones.
