Apple has put another nail in the coffin for Adobe’s Flash software, announcing that the next version of its Safari 10 browser will bar Flash by default.

Apple engineer Ricky Mondello said in a blog that the company will turn off Flash by default in Safari 10, which will ship with the new MacOS operating system later this year.

The company will also block a number of other browser plug-ins including QuickTime, Silverlight and Java.
