Just days before its official unveiling, Samsung have made a significant blunder, and accidentally revealed official images of the Galaxy Note 8 on its own website.

The image reveals the US unlocked version, and was mistakenly posted to Samsung’s online store.

While the link did not work, the listing did confirm previously leaked information from Channel News, stating the base model would contain 64GB of internal storage.

The listing also indicated the possibility of the US unlocked version shipping out at the same time as carrier versions. This is a move away from prior precedent.

No price was mentioned.

The accidental post also confirmed details leaked in an marketing brochure tailored to Australian consumers, discovered last week.

The brochure confirmed specifications as a rear dual camera and wireless charging, whilst also mentioning a 64GB internal memory for the base model, too.

In contrast to the past, it seems Samsung has no-one but themselves to blame for this recent leak.
