Samsung has officially released its popular Galaxy S8 smartphone in a striking new colour – Burgundy Red.

The auspiciously coloured device will first launch in Korea on November 28th, however, Samsung has advised it will soon roll out to other selected countries. Samsung’s local offices will advise if Australian availability will be included sometime later.

Globally, the Samsung Galaxy S8 is available in Midnight Black, Orchid Gray, Coral Blue, Arctic Silver and Maple Gold, with each colour available to purchase from Samsung Australia’s website and at selected retailers.

Samsung states the new “luxurious hue” emphasises the S8’s ergonomic design and will likely appeal to a wide range of tastes.
