Following several rumours, Samsung has announced it will reveal its forthcoming flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S9, on February 25th at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

Australian-based individuals will be able to watch a live stream of the unveiling on February 26th at 4am AEDT. Individuals can register on Samsung Australia’s dedicated landing page here.

Samsung has posted a teaser on Twitter, alluding to the S9’s “reimagined camera”. Some commentators speculate this could be a variable aperture camera – enabling its rumoured 12MP shooter to swap between f/1.5 and f/2.4 apertures.

Enabling the device’s camera to let in more light, will allow it to perform better in low lighting scenarios.
