Microsoft is reportedly set to unveil a “heavily redesigned” Surface Pro next year. The pseudo-named ‘Surface Pro 6’ is scheduled to launch mid-2019, and is tipped to feature Intel’s latest gen processors.

As previously reported, last month rumours revealed Microsoft is also working on affordable new Surface tablets. Primarily aimed at the education industry, the devices are intended to compete with Chromebooks and iPads.

According to ZDNet, Microsoft is also tipped to launch a Surface Laptop later this year, featuring Intel’s latest 8th gen processors.

Despite recently deploying USB-C for its Surface Book 2, it’s unclear whether the connection will be featured in the new Surface Laptop.

Following previous reports, Microsoft is rumoured to be working on a Surface-branded headset, similar to Jabra’s Evolve range.
