Microsoft has posted Q3 revenues of US$30.6 billion and net income of $8.8 billion most of which came from its personal computing products, including Windows, Xbox gaming, search advertising and Surface.

Personal computing contributed $10.7 billion in revenues for the quarter.

Windows OEM Pro revenue growth for the quarter was up 15 percent year-over year.

The software services giant said Office 365 Commercial now has up to 180 million users while Microsoft’s Outlook apps on iOS and Android surpassed more than 100 million users.
