In a bid to better take on Microsoft Office, Google has signed up Ring Central, a unified communications specialist company. Google struggled to compete with what was first Lync and is now Microsoft’s Skype for Business.

So Google is now plumbing its partnership with Ring Central to focus on large-sized businesses.

Ring Central which went public in 2013 and has a market capitalisation of about $1.5 billion, is currently offering a new bundle that offers an unlimited Google Apps account alongside Ring Central’s core product, for US$30 per user a month.
